1、 Preparation before assembly
Parts cleaning: Before assembly, each part must be carefully cleaned to remove burrs, iron filings, and other impurities from processing. If necessary, polishing treatment should be carried out to ensure the cleanliness inside the oil cylinder.
Parts inspection: Check whether the size, shape, and surface quality of the parts meet the design requirements, especially key parts such as cylinder blocks, piston rods, and end caps. It is necessary to focus on controlling their inner and outer diameter dimensions, sealing/guiding groove processing dimensions, and surface roughness.
2、 Control during assembly process
Correct installation of seals: The installation of seals should be strictly carried out according to requirements to avoid the occurrence of incorrect or reversed installation. Ensure that the lip direction of the seal is correct during installation to avoid leakage problems caused by improper installation.
Avoid damaging parts: During the assembly process, avoid using brute force or improper tools that may cause damage to parts, especially vulnerable parts such as piston rods and sealing rings. The protruding part of the piston rod should not be struck or rubbed to prevent damage.
Pay attention to the installation sequence: Install each component in the correct order to ensure a smooth assembly process. At the same time, when locking the screws, they should be diagonally locked to ensure the parallelism of the installation surface and uniform tightening force.
Use lubricants: During the assembly process, appropriate lubricants should be used to reduce friction and wear, and improve the service life of hydraulic cylinders.
3、 Inspection and testing after assembly
Action testing: After assembly, conduct action testing on the oil cylinder to ensure smooth movement of the piston rod, no obstruction or uneven resistance.
Pressure resistance test: Conduct pressure resistance test according to national standards, with a rated pressure of not less than 20MPa, a pressure resistance test pressure of 1.25 times, and a holding time of not less than 10 minutes. During the testing process, the oil cylinder should be observed for any leakage, permanent deformation, or damage.
Appearance inspection: Check whether the appearance of the oil cylinder is clean, free of scratches and damage, to ensure the aesthetics and safety of use of the oil cylinder.
4、 Other precautions
Preventing foreign objects from entering: During and after assembly, it is necessary to ensure that the oil port of the cylinder cannot be removed from the sealing element to prevent foreign objects from entering the cylinder and affecting its performance and service life.
Pre tightening and adjustment: The fixed part connected to the rod head after installation should not be locked during assembly, pre tighten first. After the oil cylinder has been operated 3-5 times, tighten the screws to ensure the concentricity and parallelism of the fit.
Quality Record and Tracking: Establish a comprehensive product quality record system to track and analyze quality issues during the assembly process, promptly identify problems, and take measures for improvement.
